About us

What is Mini Choir?

Mini Choir is the children's choir at Flitwick Parish Church in Bedfordshire. The choir aims to give children the opportunity to sing a variety of music in a friendly, fun and hard working environment

Who can join?

The choir is open to boys and girls at Lower School (4 years old and upwards) who enjoy singing. You do not need to know anything about music before you start

When do you meet? Mini Choir meets from 5pm to 5.45pm on Monday evenings during term time. Our next meeting is on Monday 20th February 2012
Where do you meet? We meet in the Chapter House attached to the Church in Church Road, Flitwick MK45 1AE
What do you do? Each week, we start with singing games to wake up our voices and to learn how to sing well. Then, we find out about music and use all of our skills to learn new songs and hymns. We also earn coloured ribbons and medals for trying hard and singing well. Click here to find out more about these
Will I have to come to church on Sundays? There will be opportunities throughout the year to sing on Sundays and at other special services. The choir has strong links with the church's Sunday School and choir members are able to join in with Sunday School activities for part of the service time
How do I join Mini Choir? You may join the choir at any time. If you prefer, you may come along for a few weeks first to see if you enjoy yourself. To find out more about joining Mini Choir, click here
Did you know? There is also a choir for adults and children at Flitwick Parish Church. Children aged seven and over may choose to sing with Mini Choir or the main choir or both!

Sing, have fun and learn about music
